We are seeking a Global Sales Executive to drive new business across the UK, focusing on large, strategic accounts. This role is pivotal in securing new customer revenue for both the district office and the wider network. It is a pure new-business sales role, distinct from account management.
About the Role
Sales Executive:
* Manage and develop a portfolio of strategic accounts, focusing on securing new business
* Proactively identify, engage, and convert high-value prospects across the UK
* Maintain a robust sales pipeline aligned with district and regional targets
* Achieve sales metrics, including closing a minimum of two new opportunities per month
Sales Process:
* Collaborate with Product Managers and Service Leads to design and present value-added logistics solutions
* Prepare supporting materials such as network diagrams and cost-benefit models for proposals
* Ensure accurate and timely CRM activity completion
* Support the transition of new accounts to management, remaining involved until client onboarding is stable
Customer Engagement:
* Conduct regular external customer meetings across the UK
* Represent the company professionally, consistently demonstrating cultural values
* Build long-term consultative relationships focused on comprehensive supply-chain solutions
Responsibilities

Qualifications
* Minimum 5-10 years in logistics or freight industry, with a strong background in B2B sales
* Proven experience in air, ocean, road freight, or related supply-chain solutions
* Strong understanding of supply-chain terminology and commercial decision drivers
* Experience handling large, complex, multi-location accounts

* Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills
* Strong problem-solving and commercial thinking
* Highly organised with a sense of urgency and accountability

Pay range and compensation package
