The Role:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Room Leader to join our team. In this role, you will:
1. Lead a room within our early years centre, supporting children's learning and development
2. Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the Irish immersion ethos
3. Support and mentor staff in your room, ensuring high standards of care and education
4. Work collaboratively with the management team to maintain a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment
This role is initially offered until the end of March. However, there is potential for progression: depending on your performance and fit within the team, there may be an opportunity to step into the Deputy Childcare Manager role, which comes with increased responsibilities and a higher salary.
Requirements:
5. Previous experience in early years education or childcare
6. Leadership experience within a childcare setting is desirable
7. Passion for working in an Irish language environment
8. Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
