Job Description
The Finance Operations Lead will be responsible for the following;
3. Oversee and manage all financial operations and processes to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
4. Lead the preparation and review of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
5. Oversee month end processes and prepare consolidated management accounts.
6. Support in the preparation of statutory accounts preparation.
7. Complete cashflow forecasting.
8. Manage bank arrangements, supplier payments and ensuring complete and compliant financial records are kept.
9. Streamline financial workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy in operations.
10. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on key financial matters and audits.
11. Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data across all platforms.
12. Mentor and guide team members within the Accounting & Finance department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Operations Lead should have:
13. A strong background in Accounting & Finance, experience in the Not for Profit sector is essential.
14. Professional qualifications in accountancy or finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
15. Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance management.
16. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
17. Ability to lead and manage teams effectively to achieve operational goals.
18. Proficiency in financial systems and tools relevant to the role.
