Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care in a friendly and professional environment. The position is for 4 days a week, Monday to Thursday 9am to 6pm (30 minutes for lunch - unpaid)
Responsibilities
* Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
* Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, answering their questions, and ensuring their comfort throughout treatments.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with practice protocols.
* Ensure that all dental equipment is cleaned, sterilised, and maintained according to health and safety regulations.
* Communicate effectively with both patients and team members to facilitate smooth operations within the practice.
* Support administrative tasks as required, including appointment scheduling and managing patient enquiries.
* Stay updated on the latest dental practices and technologies to enhance patient care.
Experience
* Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with patients and colleagues.
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
* A good understanding of IT systems related to patient management is advantageous.
* A genuine passion for patient care and the ability to empathise with patients' needs are essential qualities for this role.
