We’re looking for a Team Leader to join our brilliant care team in Poole working around Bournemouth and Poole, to provide support to your team of home carers to ensure the highest level of care is consistently provided to all our clients. What will you do? Team leadership to support your care team including regular supervisions, spot-checks, performance management and auditing Ensuring all clients are provided quality care that is respectful, dignified and encourages independence whilst adhering to the support plan. Manage team morale, problem solve and resolve issues and/or escalate to the office Organise meetings, review and events for your team and attend/support monthly team meetings Support the other Team Leaders, new starters, office team and Branch Manager Support 24/7 care delivery with on-call duties to cover out of hours support on evenings and weekends (shared across the team in a rota) Provide care to your own clients and set the highest example to your team Ensure regular communications are happening, deliver reports and reviews Who are you? You’re a caring individual with a good work ethic and previous care experience Ideally you have some leadership experience or a strong desire to progress now You have excellent people and communication skills including in writing You’re able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively so you can best support your team You can demonstrate professionalism and can treat people with respect You’re reliable and trustworthy and can maintain confidentiality of carer and client information Be willing and able to undertake on-call duties which is shared across the team You're willing to undertake a DBS check to be able to work with vulnerable adults You have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for work What do we offer? £13.50 – 16.25 an hour (weekday/weekends) plus 45p mileage Full time or part time hours plus extra or time off in lieu for on-call or overtime work completed Supportive, professional and common-sense management and ongoing support Pay and benefit package includes paid DBS training, blue light card, paid volunteering and flu jab Ongoing professional and personal development, training and progression Long stay bonus and referral bonus scheme We will undertake a DBS and right to work check prior to you starting.
