Your new companyHays Education is working with an SEN Nursery in Leicester to find a proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible on a full-time, temporary basis. This is a term-time only position. The ideal candidate has experience supporting children with complex special educational needs and/or disabilities in an early years setting. Pupils benefit from the support of specialist practitioners who work hard to provide an inclusive Early Years education for SEN children from across Leicester. The school boasts a light room, spa room, soft play room and ICT suite - all of which contribute to a holistic approach to SEN education.Your new roleIn this job as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll work with a team of specialist practitioners to support pupils with a range of additional needs to access this schools' bespoke curriculum. You'll benefit from on-going support from your Hays consultant, Hollie, who will be there for you throughout this placement and beyond.What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in your new job, you'll have a minimum of 1 years' experience working with SEN children aged between 2 and 5 years old. You'll be proactive and adaptable to working with children with a range of complex educational and physical needs. You'll be prepared to take on full-time hours on a term-time only basis.
