Job Title: Head of FP&A and MI
Location: Hybrid working from the Bolton Head Office
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £85,000 - £95,000 dependent on experience
Overview
The role will lead the Financial Planning & Analysis and Management Information functions, driving strategic financial planning and delivering meaningful financial and operational insights to support data‑driven decision making across the Group. It reports to the CFO and collaborates closely with the Executive team and operational leaders to improve financial visibility, enhance reporting capability and support value creation initiatives.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing robust financial models and leading budgeting and forecasting processes
* Enhancing the Group’s MI framework and driving continuous improvement across reporting systems and processes
* Delivering high‑quality board and investor reporting
* Leading and developing a high‑performing FP&A and MI team
Qualifications
We are looking for an experienced finance leader with:
* A strong track record in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, performance reporting and management information, ideally in private‑equity backed, multi‑site organisations
* Proven experience driving finance transformation and business partnering with senior executives
* Qualification as a chartered accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
* Strong commercial awareness and technical expertise, including experience with reporting tools such as Power BI
* Effective people leadership skills to build and develop high‑performing teams
