Delivering on a housing landlord asset management strategy and cyclical repairs and planned maintenance service across 5000 home’s that will enable our communities to thrive. We are looking for an experienced asset and planned maintenance manager to lead on the delivery and implementation of the capital delivery programmes and Asset Management Strategy. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience of delivering complex contracted planned maintenance and major repair programmes of work including carbon reduction initiatives, ensuring that the council’s contract standing orders and procurement requirements are met. Demonstrable experience in formulating short, medium and long-term asset management strategies by informing the use and understanding of data, trend analysis and life cycle profiling is a key requirement. Ensuring the asset investment and management requirements of the council’s housing stock including acquisitions and disposals are met to inform the Housing Revenue Account Business Plan. That housing stock condition data information is gathered and used as effectively as possible to support and shape property services that meet building safety and regulatory requirements. Significant experience of supportive staff management with the ability to lead, motivate and enthuse staff to respond to the needs and ambitions of our tenants by delivering customer-focused and proactive housing Landlord services. Reporting to the Service Lead - Property Services (Interim) we are looking for an exceptional candidate, to join us at an exciting time as we re-procure our major repairs, maintenance and compliance contracts to help shape future services and how they are delivered.
