As Uprated continues to expand, we are looking to welcome a Senior Social Media Executive to join our talented team and work with our growing list of clients, many of which are household names. If you love all things in the world of social, this is an exciting opportunity to lead, create and deliver outstanding campaigns for our clients.
You’ll be responsible for leading the creation of exceptional organic social content for our clients. Our clients predominantly sit in the ecommerce, food and drink, pets and interiors sectors, so you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and engage with a wide range of audiences.
This role is very much client-facing, you will be joining client meetings including briefs, status calls and daily contact via emails.
Reporting to the agency’s senior team, this is a fast-paced environment that is both demanding and fulfilling. Uprated will also depend on you to give your accounts and projects direction, whilst maintaining a clear strategy to achieve the very best outcome for our clients.
We offer a relaxed office environment on the top floor of an art deco building in the Lansdowne area of central Bournemouth, while being only a short walk from the Bournemouth seafront cliff top.
This is a hybrid role offering 2 days in our Bournemouth office / 3 days optional WFH. Whilst we anticipate this to be a full-time position, we are also open to flexible working days and hours for the right candidate.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
This role includes working in our digital marketing team within the agency and will include taking responsibility for the following activities:
* Create and deliver outstanding social media campaigns that provide exceptional results for our clients, using data-driven decisions to optimise performance and ensure that all activity meets client targets.
* Manage and oversee social media content, including copywriting, editing, publishing and sharing engaging content for clients, working to a set tone of voice and aligned to brand guidelines, whilst tailoring content to suit different channels.
* Work with our creative team to create best-in-class social content and asset creation for highly impactful campaigns.
* Lead campaign ideation sessions, bringing fresh creative ideas for content and social strategy.
* Deliver outstanding account management across client campaigns and projects, maintaining regular contact with key stakeholders, delivering exceptional customer service.
* Undertake detailed audience research to inform organic and paid campaigns.
* Deliver strategic content planning via organic and paid social calendars for clients.
* Manage community engagement and moderation, including answering questions, responding to comments and engaging with audiences.
* Identify relevant creators and influencers to work with as part of client campaigns, managing associated campaigns budgets.
* Create and deliver meaningful social reporting and insights, ensuring you are rigorously tracking the performance of all content and enabling this data to be fed into future channel strategies.
* Lead and manage internal agency social channels and campaigns in partnership with our Client Services Manager, helping to grow followers, raise awareness and deliver new enquiries.
* Support with the development of presentations, proposals, briefs and pitches outlining opportunities with new and existing clients.
* Monitor changes in the marketplace to ensure a strong understanding of industry news, social trends and best practices across organic platforms.
Required Skills & Experience
If you have the following skills, we’d love to hear from you.
* At least 3 years of strong and demonstrable experience (working either agency or client-side) of creating brilliant social media content for brands and managing all key social media channels including; Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube and TikTok.
* Proven track record growing organic social media channels taking data-driven decisions to achieve outstanding results.
* Strong experience in client communications and client management, including presentations, meetings, updates and calls and client outings.
* Exceptional copywriting and communication skills. You must be able to convey key messages and craft original and engaging content with creative copy, aligning to client tone of voice and brand guidelines.
* Excellent design skills with strong experience of tools such as Canva, Photoshop or similar content creation platforms.
* Proven experience in community management across multiple social channels.
* Experience influencer marketing, including planning, identification, communication and campaign delivery.
* Extensive hands-on experience in using publishing, monitoring and reporting tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Facebook Business Suite and Google Analytics.
* Experience in report creation and delivery
* Ability to work to tight deadlines, prioritise, solve problems and deliver results.
* Experience with agency project management processes, software and tools.
* Capacity to juggle multiple campaigns effectively
* Passion for all things digital and harbouring a real interest in social media platform changes and news, keeping up to date with ever-changing industry trends.

* Experience of managing and developing team members
* Experience or an understanding of Paid Social (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) campaigns.
* Experience in proposal/deck/pitch contribution and delivery.
