Please read our package, below, to see what benefits we offer you. Hours: 30 per week. You'll work Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays, from 2:30pm - 10:30pm. Salary: 26,793 per annum Duration: Fixed term contract until 24-Aug-2025 Interview date: 16th June 2025 Internally you'll be known as a Food & Beverage Assistant Manager (Band 2). What it's like to work here You'll oversee the smooth running of the F&B outlets and the 4 team members working the evening shifts. There are two outlets- the main caf and a pop up outlet by the stage which are both open from 5pm until the beginning of the performance and then again at the interval. The second part of your role is a Duty Manager responsibility- liaising with the theatre company, volunteers and commercial team to ensure everything is operating well and having responsibility for locking and alarming the property at then end of the evening. What you'll be doing As Food and Beverage Assistant Manager, you’ll be working closely with the Food and Beverage Manager. You’ll be helping to look after the entire operation, keeping consistently high standards in the team, in the outlets, and in the food and drink we prepare and serve. You’ll always have an eye on ways to improve service and standards for our visitors. You’ll support the team to help build a great place to work. This could include helping with recruiting and training new people or developing the team. You’ll make sure that the team follow all relevant legislation and National Trust policies. You’ll be setting and achieving financial targets to increase income and profits. This could be by driving sales through controlling resources and achieving the best possible customer service. We’ll give you an induction that fits the job, and training in allergens and food safety, plus any mentoring needed to help you in your role.
