*What you will be doing...*
* Undertake a comprehensive training programme carried out at the Barony site and Ayrshire College on day release.
* Undertake a period of on-the-job training with a Shift Mechanical Fitter, shift work will be required.
* Complete and maintain all reports and records required for SEMTA (Science, Engineering and Manufacturing Technologies Apprenticeship) awards scheme.
* Liaise with the Mechanical Engineer in the repair and maintenance of all equipment on dayshift to the highest standards.
*What we need from you...*
* For all apprenticeships we are looking for self-motivated learners with excellent interpersonal skills.
* You will also need 4 National 5 qualifications or equivalent at Grade C or above, or predicted, including Maths, English and a Science and Technology based subject.
* Basic standard of IT skills.
