Bring your passion for group fitness and leadership to this dynamic role coordinating instructors, scheduling classes, and delivering an exceptional member experience. This is a great opportunity to shape our fitness offering while supporting a vibrant campus community.
Some tasks of the role include :
* Lead and mentor a team of up to 27 Group Exercise Instructors
* Manage group fitness timetables, scheduling, and class performance
* Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training of new instructors
* Coordinate workshops, audits, and team communications
* Respond to member feedback and drive class engagement
* Maintain records, process invoices, and manage instructor contracts
Permanent role, working 15 hours per week (0.4 FTE) onsite at our Lincoln Campus, across two full days each week (exact days are flexible). Salary : circa $65,000 per annum, pro rata to part time hours (approx. $33 / hr)

To be successful in this role you will have :
1. A Les Mills qualification (preferred) and at least two years of group instructing experience
2. Strong coordination and leadership skills
3. Experience in timetabling, contractor management, and training delivery
4. Knowledge of group fitness operations and class dynamics
5. Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities
6. A client-focused, proactive, and organised working style
7. Alignment with Manaakitaka and Lincoln University values.
