Operational Office Manager

Permanent, full‑time role – 37 hours per week, working term time only for 39.2 weeks plus 10 additional days to be agreed and worked across the academic year.

Monday to Thursday: 8 am to 4 pm; Friday: 8 am to 3:30 pm.

Salary: Grade 7 (SCP15-22) £30,024 – £33,699 per annum pro‑rate.

Actual salary: £27,402.38 – £30,756.49 per annum.


Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for key areas including HR, administration, nursery admissions, finance and health and safety. They will play a key role in the management of the school budget and in supporting the Headteacher with confidential administration. As an integral member of the school office, you will ensure that systems and processes are maintained and provide excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.


Qualifications

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* The ability to multi‑task, often working to strict timelines.
* Experience of budget management.
* The ability to work with complex administration systems where accuracy is required.
* The ability to build relationships within the school and the wider community, including parents and governors.
