Job Description
About the Role
Join our team as a Regional Marketing and Communications Officer in Stoke-on-Trent.
We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and creative individual to support the delivery of our marketing and communications strategy in the Stoke-on-Trent area. If you are looking to join a forward-thinking, values-driven charity with the passion and expertise to drive our marketing and communications efforts, we'd love to hear from you.
Stoke-on-Trent’s Community Drug and Alcohol Service (CDAS), a partnership between With You and BAC O’Connor, provides a free, confidential, and friendly service to anyone experiencing challenges with drugs or alcohol. As a leading charity supporting people with drug, alcohol, and mental health challenges, we operate over 80 services across England and Scotland, supporting more than 100,000 people annually. Find out more about us here.
Applicants must submit a CV and a cover letter explaining their suitability for the role. The closing date is 1st June 2025. Note: the role may close earlier if we receive many applications, so apply soon.
The successful candidate will support CDAS in creating content aligned with our brand, including producing high-quality, engaging marketing and communication materials such as press releases, leaflets, Q&As, blogs, photography, and videos.
You will be responsible for delivering multimedia content—film, photo, GIFs, animations, illustrations, and graphics—across all marketing activities. You will ensure our content helps secure media coverage, increase social media engagement, promote our services, build brand awareness, and connect with key audiences, while maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
This is a part-time, fixed-term hybrid position (22.5 hours/week until 31/03/2026), with travel to Stoke Community Drug and Alcohol Service approximately once per week. Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum pro-rata. Interviews are expected on 11th and 12th June 2025.
