We have an exciting opportunity for a hardworking and enthusiastic professional to join our Occupational Therapy (Physical Disability and Sensory Impairment) team.
In this role, you will work with people experiencing disabilities affecting their daily living activities. You will provide assessment services to determine needs, visiting individuals in their homes or other community settings as required.
To succeed, you should have the ability to gather, select, and analyze information to support assessment decisions and identify the underlying cause of functional difficulties.
This role involves providing equipment and/or adaptations directly or referring to other statutory or voluntary services.
You should be able to work autonomously within tight timescales and demonstrate responsibility for your own learning needs.
An HNC in Occupational Therapy Support is preferred, or you should be willing to work towards obtaining this qualification.
Supervision and peer support will be provided regularly.
