Job Description:
We are searching for an experienced Restructuring Advisory Associate - MVL.
Consulting brings together multiple teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to provide client-centric solutions for RSM’s current and future clients within the middle market. Our Consulting team plays a key role in driving the firm's growth, with over 1,700 people delivering nearly £200m revenue.

These solutions enable us to support our clients' strategic goals and empower our team members to make an impact and develop their careers.
Overall job purpose
This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop a broad range of commercial skills and experience across advisory and formal members voluntary liquidation assignments with the Restructuring National Members Voluntary Liquidation team.
You will assist in delivering orderly wind downs, corporate reorganizations, and work on members voluntary liquidation appointments across a diverse client portfolio, ensuring quality service to clients and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
1. Complete assignments following the Firm’s procedures and statutory obligations, confirming arrangements with clients, including costs and billing.
2. Plan and execute assignments with team members, potentially managing cases, in accordance with procedures and regulations. This includes providing training support, progressing liquidations from start to finish, preparing engagement letters, and completing KPIs for approvals.
3. Understand client challenges, develop solutions, and communicate effectively with clients and team members. This includes handling pre-appointment matters, attending meetings, analyzing information, advising on wind down scenarios, and collaborating on group reorganization projects.
4. Assist with client onboarding procedures and timely completion of required documentation.
5. Ensure jobs are completed within budget, communicate any issues, and liaise with stakeholders throughout assignments.
6. Monitor work profitability and recoverability, bill clients promptly, and participate in marketing activities.
7. Attend staff meetings and training, observe health and safety policies, and perform other duties as assigned.
Personal and professional qualities
1. Previous client handling experience.
2. Experience in Restructuring Advisory and/or Insolvency is preferred; CPI qualification is an advantage but not essential.
3. Strong organizational, time management, and commercial skills.
4. Excellent communication skills for internal and external interactions.
5. High commitment to quality and meeting deadlines.
6. Interest in promoting the service line internally and externally.
