Job Description

This is an exciting role in the Hazardous Waste team, providing leadership to ensure that the regime is sustainably resourced, compliant with internal audits, and future-proofed.

The role duties and responsibilities include:

1. Forming a holistic review of hazardous waste charge funding and outcomes, including options for improvements.
2. Implementing recommendations from this review, which may include:
* Assessing distribution of monies
* Evaluating KPIs
* Developing and delivering new ways of working
1. Other responsibilities may include:
* Implementing recommendations from internal delivery audits
* Supporting the implementation of Improving Regulation
* Driving Area Hazardous Waste activities and increasing visibility

The Environment & Business (E&B) Hazardous Waste team is a small, high-performing team within the Regime Regulation division, supporting government, industry, and colleagues to ensure hazardous waste is managed correctly.

Experience/Skills Required

In your capability-based answers, please demonstrate your ability to:

Development opportunities and training will be provided.

Additional Information

This role offers flexible/hybrid working arrangements. Some travel and overnight stays may be required, and the use of smart tools will facilitate remote connectivity.
