Summary We are looking for a Rural Surveyor to help us manage our diverse let estate portfolio in the Yorkshire Dales. Supporting the Estate Manager, you will mainly be looking after the Malham Tarn and Upper Wharfedale estates. Joining our team, you’ll take on interesting rural surveying work that will help us to deliver sustainable land and property management, for everyone, for ever. You’ll particularly focus on our Landscape Recovery Scheme bid. The role may be full time or part time (subject to a minimum of 20 hours per week) and we are open to discussing different working patterns for part time work. Your contractual place of work will be either York, Manchester or Grasmere, or at our office at Malham Tarn near Settle. Our hybrid working policy means you can balance office and home working with site visits and meetings at other National Trust places. We’ll talk about this in more detail at interview, but you should expect to be at a National Trust site for 40–60% of your working week. Due to the travel required for this role, you must hold a full driving licence with access to your own vehicle (business mileage is claimable through expenses).
