Employment Professional Support Lawyer - 5+ PQE Solicitor
Part Time (approximately 3 days a week)

£65,000 - £85,000 FTE

A highly respected and boutique legal 200 firm is looking for an experienced Employment Solicitor to support their top tier team as a knowledge and training support lawyer. The team works at the highest level and is recognised in both the Chambers and Legal 500 directories, acting for both employers and employees on a variety of high value contentious and non-contentious matters.
This role is available on a part time basis, with the firm anticipating a need for 3 days a week but open to negotiation. They pride themselves on it's good work/life balance, offering flexible hybrid working, and a pleasant environment with excellent charity and external initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Employer Solicitor either looking for a new challenge as an established knowledge/support lawyer or looking to take a step back from fee-earning in a interesting and challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support a busy Employment team, responding to legal and procedural queries and functioning as an internal consultant litigation and advisory matters.
* Assist with the development and maintenance of internal resources including guidance notes, case summaries, precedents etc, including giving updates to ongoing changes to the law.
* Provide training programs for legal professionals across all levels and key clients, covering changes to the law and litigation strategy.
* Building relationships with clients using marketing material, training sessions, and developing sales strategies alongside firm Partners, while maintaining high standard of care and ensuring full compliance.
* Developing rapport with clients and building long-lasting relationships,
* Acting with a degree of autonomy (while receiving appropriate support).
Desired Skills and Experience:
* UK qualified Solicitor or Lawyer with 5+ years PQE (other levels will be considered),
* Demonstrated track record of high-quality employment law experience within a nationally or internationally recognised firm,
* While the ideal candidate will have previous experience as a PSL, knowledge, or support lawyer the firm are willing to consider fee-earners with relevant support/training experience,
* Technically strong in advising clients in a variety of contentious and non-contentious employment matters,
* Being a team player with strong communication skills,
* Self-motivated with the ability to act independently with minimal oversight.
