Project Manager
Salary: £59,000 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Contract: Permanent
Location: Hybrid working (Head Office and working from home)
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join us on permanent basis to support the delivery of the Society’s Change Programme through the management of one or more IT-related project and departmental assignments.
To provide assurance that change is managed in a controlled and co-ordinated manner, ensuring change is embedded successfully and that the business benefits are realised.
To manage the needs of all stakeholders, ensuring the risk and impact of change is clearly communicated and understood during each stage of the change lifecycle, with mitigation plans in place to safeguard operational and customer impacts.
Key responsibilities are:
1. Manage the delivery of multiple technical projects in accordance with the Society’s governance and corporate policies for change management.
2. Scope and define the implementation of project deliverables, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and encapsulated within an agreed cost and benefit statement.
3. Lead and manage multiple technical teams in a project framework, ensuring the effective co-ordination and utilisation of resources.
4. Co-ordinate and manage third party dependencies in line with business priorities and quality expectations.
5. Ensure the impact of change is communicated in a co-ordinated and timely manner to all stakeholders, including end users and customers. Including the provision of appropriate documentation and training to support the transition and embedding of change.
6. Manage project controls for risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, decisions, changes and stage boundaries.
7. Maintain project activity, budget and resource plans in line with the agreed cost and benefit statement and reporting requirements.
8. Production of project reports in line with the programme reporting schedule, ensuring steering group and ExCo updates are issued on time and to the expected level of quality.
The skills and experience required are:
9. Previous project management experience within financial services delivering technical change
10. PRINCE 2 or relevant accreditation
11. Previously delivered on IT related projects
12. Experience of delivering infrastructure and software upgrade projects within a technical environment
13. Good stakeholder management with experience of working with senior management
14. Good communication skills, able to confidently engage and present themselves to others within the organisation
15. Conversant with technology and the delivery of technical solutions
16. Experience of working with and managing third party suppliers

18. Data Warehouse upgrades and data specific projects
19. CRM upgrades legacy CRM to new types
