Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Executive Assistant / Personal Assistant to provide professional support to a busy Executive Leadership Team within a fast-paced public sector environment. This is a temporary position requiring someone who can start immediately and hit the ground running.
Responsibilities
The role involves managing complex diaries, coordinating meetings, preparing documentation, and liaising confidently with senior leaders and external partners. You will play a key role in ensuring that the leadership teams time and priorities are managed effectively.
About you
* Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail
* A professional, discreet, and proactive approach
* Confidence working independently and under pressure in a dynamic environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel)
* A background supporting executives or senior management within local government, the public sector, or a similar complex organisation would be highly beneficial.
Requirements
* Available for an immediate start
* Able to commit to a temporary full-time role (initial duration to be agreed)
* May include occasional evening or weekend working
