Overview
Sutton County Council are looking to expand their current team with a dedicated Adults Locality Social Worker looking for an opportunity to join a well-structured and organised team. This Adults Locality Social Worker role will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance.
Responsibilities
* Carrying out initial safeguarding enquiries and s42 enquiries
* Providing advice to the public, partner agencies and regulated care providers in relation to safeguarding concerns
* Completing home visits and safeguarding assessments and reports
* Liaising with other professionals
* Knowledge of relevant legislation
* Holding cases
* Working with people at risk, and people who have caused harm.
* Attending multidisciplinary meetings
* Completing referrals to relevant agencies for support
Experience and qualifications
* Post qualifying experience of working as an Adults Locality Social Worker
* HCPC Registration
* 3 year post qualifying experience within UK Social Care industry
* Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
* Eligibility to work in the UK
