Business Support Minute Taker – Children’s Safeguarding Team

About the Role We are seeking a highly organised and professional Business Support Minute Taker to join the Children’s Safeguarding Team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to support vital services that make a real difference to the lives of children, young people, and families.
You will play a key role in providing high-quality administrative support, with a particular focus on minute-taking for Strategy Meetings and other multi-agency meetings. This role requires confidentiality, accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure in a sensitive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately minute and produce records of Strategy Meetings and other professional meetings.
Prepare and type reports, letters, memos, and other correspondence.
Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with data protection requirements.
Provide general administrative support to the Children’s Services safeguarding team.
Liaise with partner agencies to ensure smooth information-sharing and communication.
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, as well as handling telephone queries.
Support colleagues by participating in supervision, team meetings, and training activities.About You We’re looking for someone who is:
Experienced in minute-taking in formal settings.
Skilled in using Microsoft Word and other office software.
Organised, with strong time management and prioritisation skills.
An excellent communicator, able to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Adaptable and resilient, able to work well in a team environment.Qualifications & Experience (Essential):
GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
Proven clerical/administrative experience.
Experience in providing word processing services.
Ability to cope with sensitive child protection information.What We Offer
