Our Client Poppy is a fascinating young woman in her early 30’s who lives at home with her family in a small rural village, close to Lincoln. Poppy has cerebral palsy, autism and a brain injury, and can exhibit challenging behaviours. Despite speech difficulties Poppy communicates well. She is not independently mobile and requires support in all areas of her day-to-day life including personal care. Poppy is a bright and engaging young woman with many interests and enjoys spending time accessing her hobbies and interests with the support of her care team. It can take Poppy a little while to get to know people and it is essential that this is at Poppy’s pace, however once she is familiar with you, you will enjoy her bubbly, fun and cheeky character. Interests & Hobbies Poppy uses a powered wheelchair for mobility and loves to go out and about on day trips and has enjoyed going to London a number of times recently; she is hoping to plan more days out over coming months.
