This is a unique opportunity to shape the future direction of MI and Insight at Aldermore. You’ll lead this team at a key point in it’s evolution to delivering meaningful insight that influences decisions at every level.
We’re on an exciting journey to centralise data, improve access, and build a true single source of truth. You’ll help transform how we understand performance across the COO function - working across our Technology and Customer Experience teams to bring numbers to life and provide senior leaders with clear, actionable insights. You’ll be leading an established team in driving insight that shapes how we plan, prioritise and improve.
What will your day look like?
1. Lead the end-to-end delivery of accurate, timely and consistent MI.
2. Design, build and maintain automated dashboards using Power BI and Tableau.
3. Use SQL to extract, transform and analyse data from multiple sources.
4. Develop and manage a single source of truth for business metrics.
5. Translate complex data into clear insights, enabling senior stakeholders to make informed decisions.
6. Partner with leaders across Finance, Operations, Commercial and the wider COO function.
7. Present insights and dashboards to non-technical audiences.
8. Line manage and develop MI & Insight Analysts.
What do we expect from you?
9. Experience managing or mentoring analysts.
10. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
11. Hands-on SQL experience.
12. Dashboard development experience in Power BI and Tableau (Power BI preferred).
13. Background in MI, Insight, BI or Analytics.
14. Ability to translate data into meaningful insight.
