Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
A school-based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available for the upcoming school year at a K-12 educational institution in Chatham, VA. This contract role provides the opportunity to support students with speech and language needs under the supervision of licensed speech-language pathologists.
Key Qualifications:
* Valid SLPA certification or licensure appropriate for school settings
* Experience working with children across the K-12 age range
* Ability to implement individualized speech and language therapy plans

Primary Responsibilities:
* Assist in delivering speech and language intervention services to students
* Monitor student progress and document therapy sessions and outcomes
* Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, teachers, and other school personnel
* Participate in planning and adapting therapy materials to meet student needs
* Support adherence to school protocols and confidentiality standards
