Team Administrator

The Trust currently supports the Real Living Wage (RLW) hourly rate as set by the Living Wage Federation and will apply a pay supplement if the national A4C hourly rate falls below this.
The Mental Health Access Team West & Central have an opportunity to recruit three full time Team Administrators to support the Vale locality. You will work within a multidisciplinary team completing a variety of administrative tasks to support the team.
You will need to be a motivated and resourceful individual to join our team. You should possess commitment to team working and innovative delivery of excellent standards of work. We are a supportive, competent and caring team. We aim to provide high quality administrative support services across the Vale locality to improve the safety, health and well-being of the people within our area.

Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will be expected to provide a high standard of comprehensive administration service including:
* processing of referrals
* making and receiving calls to service users and other personnel
* booking appointments and maintaining nurses diaries
* accurately recording onto the patient records system
* typing of correspondence
* supporting the team with other appropriate admin tasks.
The applicant will also be expected to be able to organise and prioritise their own workload on a daily basis to ensure that time deadlines are met and that urgent work is accommodated.
This is a varied role and can be demanding at times whilst supporting the clinical team.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Evidence of good typing skills e.g. RSA 111/NVQ Level III in an admin related subject or equivalent
* ECDL
Knowledge & Expertise
* Working knowledge of software programmes e.g. Microsoft office applications
* Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality
* Minute/note taking experience
Expertise
* Experience of providing secretarial/administrative duties
* Experience of working in a health environment
* Experience of working as a member of a team in an office environment
* Experience of general finance systems
* Experience of processes and procedures within this service area
* Experience of supporting the organisation of seminars, conferences, workshops etc.
