The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service would like to invite applications for the post of Digital Fulfilment Officer within the ESMCP Programme, based in a flexible location on a temporary basis. This is a full-time opportunity, working 35 hours per week. This position is on a temporary basis for 23 Months initially.
This is a full time post however applications from individuals seeking to work on a part time, job share or flexible working basis would be considered.
The successful candidate will be required to organise, co-ordinate and progress administration, meetings, workstreams, assist in install logistics and reporting from all areas of the ESMCP Programme. They will contribute to the progression and implementation of a number of workstreams, tasks and activities, and manage the upkeep of key information sources and databases. They support the ESMCP Programme Officer across a range of workstreams and provide business support services to the extended ESMCP Programme team as required.
The successful candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be motivated, dependable and able to work productively with minimum supervision, prioritising their workload. They will have relevant experience in a busy Business Support environment and be proficient with Microsoft apps, and able to collate and present high-volume data with a focus on accuracy. They should have excellent planning and problem-solving skills and a fundamental understanding of Projects.
Additionally, it would be beneficial to have an ITIL Foundation Certificate and experience of working in a projects management environment. Previous experience of administrating / assisting within the project’s lifecycle, and of providing support to formal projects would also be beneficial.
Some travel to office locations across Scotland may be required so a driving license is preferable.

Salary on appointment will normally be at the lower salary point, with progression subject to regular review - in line with the SFRS performance appraisal arrangements. A higher salary placing will be considered in exceptional circumstances subject to experience demonstrated.
This post is also subject to the provision of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exclusions and Exemptions) Scotland Order. Therefore, the successful candidate's will be subject to a Standard Disclosure record check through Disclosure Scotland.
