Were recruiting a MarketingOfficer to help significantly build the level and quality ofstudent enquiries. Were looking for someone who can demonstrate awillingness and ability to achieve results. This position couldsuit someone seeking parttime employment on a range between 18 and30 hours a week. The role can be hybrid working (after 6 months) nomore than 50% home working with a flexible approach to hours onboth parts including some evening and weekend working. The positionreports to the Marketing Manager with whom you will work closely.
TheCollege:
Our College is a smallindependent teaching institution and educational charity registeredwith the Office for Students. We have been educating students since1988. We are based in a large Georgian townhouse in the centre ofYork with excellent transport links. We currently offer a BSc(Hons) in Acupuncture and also MScs in Nutrition and Chinese HerbalMedicine. We recruit 65 to 100 students to these courses each year.Its a niche market which is well understood and we have a range ofnew initiatives in progress. In addition our busy and wellrespectedteaching clinics provide subsidised acupuncture and Chinese herbalmedicine treatment and nutritional advice for the local community.

KeyResponsibilities:
1.Workwith the marketing manager to create and implement the annualmarketing strategy and action plan for lead generation for coursesand clinics.
2.Takelead responsibility for the Colleges social media strategy andoutput creating eyecatching appropriate inspirational content andadvertisements for social media channels and blog. The quality ofthe content we create and of the data we collect is of keyimportance.
3.Create andrun an outreach programme for theCollege.
4.Engage in PRopportunities.
5.Be anactive and visible communicator within the College communityincluding working with the Marketing and Admissions Manager on analumni ambassadorsscheme.
6.Respond onoccasion to enquiries and update the enquiries database asnecessary.
7.Create andmaintain contactsdatabases.
8.Work withthe marketing manager on website design prospectuses otherpublications and introductorydays.
9.Work tospecified performance indicators reporting regularly to themarketing manager and the marketing and recruitment working group.
10.Ensure allactivities comply with legal and regulatoryrequirements.
11.Beresponsive quickly and appropriately to enquiries opportunities andcommunications.
12.Represent theCollege at conferences and other externalevents.
13.Participatein Colleges performance reviewprogramme.
14.Assist atintroductory events (up to four evenings and four Saturdays ayear).

JobType: Parttime 1830 hours per week worked over 35days.
Hours of work: Flexibleworking hours with an element of homeworking after 6 months in post(up to 50% WFH).
Salary Range:Level 1014:pro rata depending on qualifications andexperience.
