Job Purpose
The role of the MOT Tester is to: Undertake Class IV MOT tests to the government standards.

Key Responsibilities
* Undertaking Class IV MOT tests adhering to strict DVSA/Government guidelines
* To report additional faults requiring attention
* To complete a full write up of work completed
* To ensure all documentation is completed promptly
* To maintain tools whether own or company in a safe and clean condition
* To ensure that all requirements of Harwoods health and safety procedures are maintained
* Maintaining and reporting on all DVSA standards
Essential Skills & Requirements
* Hold the relevant MOT Tester qualification
* Relevant City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ accreditation
* Competency in numeracy, literacy and IT
* Energy and enthusiasm
* Full UK driving licence
* Smart appearance
Experience
Desirable: Relevant manufacturer experience
