Are you an experienced Panel Technician looking to broaden your horizons across a variety of sites and challenges? Steer Automotive Group is looking for a dedicated Regional Panel Technician to support our sites in delivering high-quality vehicle repairs — upholding our core values of excellence, integrity, and innovation every step of the way.
About the Role
As a Regional Panel Technician, you’ll travel across a designated group of sites, providing expert structural and cosmetic panel repairs to ensure vehicles are restored to manufacturer standards. You’ll play a key part in maintaining performance levels across the group, supporting sites during peak workloads, holiday cover, or special projects.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Carrying out structural and non-structural panel repairs efficiently and to the highest standards
* Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer specifications and safety standards
* Providing flexible support across multiple sites within your region
* Working closely with site teams to maintain repair flow and minimise downtime
* Keeping accurate records of all work and parts used
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in panel repair work within a bodyshop environment
* ATA/NVQ Level 3 in Panel Repair (or equivalent) preferred
* Strong understanding of modern vehicle construction and repair methods
* A self-motivated, adaptable approach with strong problem-solving skills
* A full UK driving licence
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
