Technical Operations Lead
Engineering | Manufacturing | Hardware Operations
We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Technical Operations Lead to take ownership of our hardware operations and help shape how products move from production to customers smoothly, efficiently, and at the highest quality.
This is a broad, impactful role where you’ll sit at the centre of engineering, manufacturing partners, and customer support. You’ll lead a small technical team, oversee testing and licensing, and be the go-to person for all things hardware operations.
What you’ll be doing
* Owning day-to-day hardware manufacturing and order fulfilment operations
* Leading testing, licensing and customer support activities
* Acting as the operational bridge between engineering, manufacturing, sales and customers
* Working closely with contract manufacturers to maintain quality and resolve issues
* Supporting new product introductions and production readiness
* Driving continuous improvement across processes and systems
* Line-managing and developing a small technical team
* Rolling up your sleeves when needed as this is a hands-on leadership role
What we’re looking for
* Proven experience in electronics manufacturing, test engineering or hardware operations
* Experience leading or mentoring technical teams
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle priorities
* A practical problem-solver who stays calm under pressure
* Confident communicator, comfortable working across teams and with external partners
* Flexible and adaptable, with willingness to work across office and manufacturing sites
