Electrical Engineer (Day Shift) – Integral UK Ltd
Location: London – St James Square
Shift: 4 on 4 off – Days Only – 12 hour shift
Role Purpose: To provide efficient control of work service, supporting projects, moves, churn and operational activities across the portfolio for our client.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Coordinate, plan and monitor sub‑contract works, including monitoring, auditing and enforcement of the Control of Work requirements.
* Ensure safe execution, agreed quality and timely completion of sub‑contract work while adhering to Client and JLL requirements.
* Support out of contracted hours works, manage contractors and own workload in coordination with the Engineering Manager and Supervisor.
* React to breakdown maintenance requests within required SLA’s.
* Perform maintenance tasks independently.
* Maintain LV & HV systems, including fault finding in LV/ELV control systems and power quality diagnostics.
* Install and maintain new plant and equipment, rectify faults, ensure spares availability and estimate remedial timelines.
* Operate HVAC and DALI lighting systems, including re‑addressing and software changes.
* Work with building management systems (BMS), VAV, FCU, chilled water circuits and chilled beams.
* Handle UPS, standby power, CPS, distribution and cooling systems; produce switching programmes.
* Diagnose power quality issues and harmonic distortion with onsite power analysers.
* Apply a risk‑focused maintenance approach in data centre/critical environments.
* Provide emergency response standby and call‑out services; coordinate with Technical Services Manager.
* Maintain engineering documentation and records in conformity with JCI & industry standards.
* Complete maintenance tasks within agreed timescales, liaise with client representatives and advise Facilities Management on critical environment changes.
* Control and supervise contractors when required.
* Ensure Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Critical Facility PPM are carried out on schedule; close reactive Helpdesk requests in line with SLA’s.
* Adhere to JLL H&S procedures, permit‑to‑work system and implement improvements from inspections.
* Monitor environmental conditions and review loading of critical equipment.
* Understand alarm protocols and auxiliary backup system capabilities.
* Adhere to financial processes and complete incident reports within 24 business hours.
* Enter remedial quotes and works into the in‑house system, maintain L8 compliance and onsite water treatment systems.
* Communicate building issues to end‑users, client and Johnson Controls Management team.
* Conduct fault‑finding on start‑delta motors, VFDs and soft‑start controls/contactors.
* Enhance service delivery through best practice and efficient use of site systems and equipment.
* Apply CDM process knowledge and work on previous electrical install projects.
* Work on steam and pressure systems; maintain pumps, sumps, tanks and sensors.
* Maintain domestic and commercial low‑temperature hot water systems, pressure vessels, buffer vessels and valve operation.
