And with up to two days at home, you'll find the work/life balance you need to thrive.What you'll doStrategic Sourcing for Indirect categoriesLead and deliver sourcing initiatives, including supplier/industry analysis, benchmarking, and cost structure evaluation.Propose procurement decisions that are data-driven, compliant, and aligned with business goals.Identify innovative opportunities to add value through sourcing strategies.Tender ManagementManage mid-to-high value and complexity tenders, from market research to supplier selection.Create tender packs, propose and complete scorecards.Present clear and commercially sound recommendations to stakeholders.Negotiations & ContractingPrepare and confidently lead negotiation meetings, ensuring both technical and commercial aspects are addressed.Influence outcomes to achieve strong commercial value for Lidl.Draft and negotiate contracts, ensuring clarity and compliance across all terms.Category Development & InnovationSupport the rollout of new procurement categories and onboarding processes, as neededRecommend creative and practical service delivery models and sourcing approaches.Identify and implement category improvements using insights from internal and external trends.Contract & Supplier Relationship ManagementOversee the contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and performance tracking.Foster strong supplier relationships and continuously seek opportunities for performance improvement.Stakeholder Collaboration & ReportingEngage with stakeholders across departments to understand their needs and translate them into procurement strategies.Present updates, insights, and proposals clearly and confidently to senior management.Act as a trusted advisor by managing expectations, navigating challenges, and delivering commercially sound outcomes.What you'll needSolid experience in a procurement roleExperience with indirect procurement categories highly desirable – Professional Services, soft and hard FM, Property, Construction, HR, etc.CIPS level 4 or substantial proven relevant experienceExperience working with suppliers, contract management and tenderingExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsEffective negotiator and confident presenterAbility to independently engage senior stakeholders, navigate change, and adapt procurement strategies to shifting business prioritiesAbility to manage multiple complex projects concurrently within tight deadlinesAbility to handle and interpret large volumes of data (both numeric and narrative)Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint/Google Sheets and Google SlidesWhat you'll receive35 days holiday (pro rata)10% in-store discountSabbaticalEnhanced family leavePension schemePlus, more of the perks you deserveWe value diversity, equity, and inclusion, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds.
