About the Role:
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Project Manager fluent in German and English to join our growing management and IT consulting team.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity initiatives—ensuring alignment with compliance frameworks, technical architecture, and business risk priorities. You will work closely with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to strengthen security posture and support digital transformation through robust security program management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage cybersecurity projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and budgets.
* Collaborate closely with IT infrastructure, InfoSec, compliance teams, and business stakeholders to coordinate project activities and resolve issues.
* Develop detailed project plans, track milestones, manage risks, and report on progress to senior management.
* Support implementation of cybersecurity controls and compliance initiatives based on industry frameworks (ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls).
* Serve as the primary project contact for internal teams, auditors, regulators, and external partners, communicating effectively in both German and English.
* Coordinate with security architects and engineers to ensure project deliverables support IAM, cloud security, and zero trust strategies.
* Monitor changes in cybersecurity threat landscape and regulations, adjusting project scope and priorities as needed.
* Contribute to client engagements by supporting project planning, delivery, and communication related to cybersecurity initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications:
* 5+ years experience managing cybersecurity or IT security projects in enterprise or consulting environments.
* Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, governance, and regulatory compliance.
* Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
* Experience with cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF, and CIS Controls.
* Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
* Familiarity with project management methodologies (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) and tools.
* Relevant certifications (PMP, CISM, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor) are a plus.
* Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
* Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise IT environments is advantageous.
