Job Title: B1 Licensed Engineer

Position Type: Full-time
Salary: £79,000 pa, plus £3,500 pa shift pay, plus £750 per approval pa (B727 attracts an enhanced rate of £2,000 per approval).
We are seeking a dedicated B1 Licensed Engineer to join a growing team. You will play a key role in maintaining airworthiness, performing inspections, and conducting maintenance in compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
* Perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a range of aircraft types, including inspections, repairs, and modifications, in line with approved data and regulatory standards.
* Diagnose and rectify faults across aircraft systems, avionics, and components.
* Certify and release aircraft to service as a B1 Licensed Engineer, ensuring all work meets regulatory requirements and documentation is accurately completed.
* Work collaboratively with engineers, technicians, and support staff to maintain efficient operations and minimize aircraft downtime.
* Maintain strict adherence to safety standards and procedures, fostering a culture of compliance and safety awareness across the team.
Qualifications
* Valid CAA Part-66 B1 Aircraft Maintenance Licence with at least one relevant type rating (B727, B737 CL/NG, B757, A320, BE200, or BE300).
* Proven experience as a B1 Licensed Engineer, ideally within a Part-145 MRO environment.
* Broad experience across multiple aircraft types, with proficiency on Boeing, Airbus, or Beechcraft models.
* Strong understanding of aircraft systems, avionics, and powerplants, with the ability to interpret complex technical documentation.
* Excellent fault-finding skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
