Heightec is a well established provider of specialist height safety training and equipment. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales Advisor to work in a small, busy team, securing sales and growing our market share with existing and potential clients.
Job Purpose
The role of the Sales Advisor is to provide accurate and relevant advice to customers, negotiate sales and record customer information.
Responsibilities
* Maintain contact with allocated accounts to maximise custopmer relations
* Introduce new products and keep customer information up to date
* Develop new business by proactive contact with prospective customers
* Issue and follow up on quotations
* Negotiate sales through to conclusion
* Develop new business by proactive contact with prospective customers
* Develop customer knowledge in defined market sectors
* Liaise with other team members
* Confirm and update customer information on database systems
* Continue professional development of technical product knowledge
Experience
You should have previous sales experience within an office environment. Knowledge of SAGE accounting would be an advantage as well as using a contacts database.
Personal Skills
You should be a confident communicator with an ability to negotiate and influence others.
A high standard of numeracy and literacy is required and an ability to use MS Office and Sage an advantage.
