We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Temporary Children’s Residential Support Workers to join our team. You will work across children's residential homes providing short-term support to vulnerable young people aged 8–18 with complex emotional and behavioural needs. You will play a vital role in promoting their safety, development, and well-being in a nurturing, homely environment.
You will receive £12.80 per hour (paid weekly) along with flexible shifts to suit your availability, ongoing training and development opportunities, a supportive team and the opportunity to gain valuable experience across various settings.
As a Children’s Residential Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:
Providing direct care, supervision, and emotional support to children and young people in a residential setting.
Supporting children with daily routines including meals, personal care, school attendance, activities, and bedtime routines.
Building trusting, therapeutic relationships to help young people feel safe and valued.
Encourage positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and social development.
Following individual care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour management strategies.
Responding to challenging behaviour calmly and appropriately, following safeguarding procedures.
Accurately recording incidents, observations, and updates in line with company and regulatory standards.
