Audio Visual Programmer
Location: Midlands (Hybrid Working)
Salary: £50,000 per annum
The Role
As an Audio-Visual Programmer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of bespoke AV control systems across a range of commercial and residential environments. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver high-quality, reliable AV solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, write, and maintain AV control code for bespoke systems
* Program and commission control systems using AMX, Crestron, and/or Extron
* Create intuitive user interfaces tailored to client requirements
* Support system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
* Provide technical support during project delivery and post-installation where required
* Ensure programming standards, documentation, and version control are maintained
Required Experience & Skills
* Proven experience as an AV Programmer
* Strong hands‑on programming experience with AMX, Crestron, and/or Extron
* Ability to develop and write AV control code from scratch
* Experience delivering bespoke AV control solutions
* Good understanding of AV systems including control, audio, video, and networking
* Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a wider project team
