Job Description
Strong technical year end accounting knowledge, including reconciliations, accruals and prepayments, fund accounting, and deferred incomeDeep understanding of, and experience working with, Sage and Business CentralExperience leading the technical side of year end audits, delivering evidence to auditors and responding to auditor queriesExperience of charity accountingMonth-end process expertiseComfortable preparing audit schedules and extracting reportsRelationship managing with external auditorReconciliation of control accounts, high level review for internal and external stakeholdersThe Successful Applicant
A successful Year End Accountant should have:
A background in accounting or finance, with proven expertise in year-end processes.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.Proficiency with accounting software and Excel.Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.What's on Offer
