About this position: Casual shifts are available five days a week, on an as needed basis. The Cranbrook Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC) is a community‑based clinic providing same‑day, non‑emergency care for patients who need timely access to primary health services within 12–24 hours. Care is delivered through a collaborative, interprofessional team, supporting patients who may not have a regular primary care provider.
As a Physiotherapist at the Cranbrook UPCC, you are an integral part of this team based approach, helping patients manage acute and sub acute musculoskeletal conditions, mobility concerns, functional limitations, and pain related to injury or illness. Your work supports patients presenting with concerns such as sprains, strains, minor injuries, and movement related issues, helping to reduce unnecessary emergency department visits and improve access to timely care.
In this role, you collaborate closely with primary care providers and allied health colleagues to complete assessments, provide targeted interventions, and support self management and recovery. Physiotherapy services at the UPCC focus on improving function, promoting safe movement, and supporting patients across the lifespan within a fast paced, patient centred environment.
