The Best Connection is currently working with a well-respected care home in Bynea, Llanelli, to find a dedicated Night Care Worker. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and make a real difference in the lives of residents. This is a potential permanent opportunity for the right person.
Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality care and support to residents during night shifts.
Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
Monitor the health and well-being of residents, reporting any changes to senior staff.
Ensure the safety and security of residents throughout the night.
Support residents with their bedtime routines and ensure they are comfortable.
Perform light housekeeping duties as required.
Follow care plans and document care provided accurately.
Requirements: NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or a willingness to work towards this qualification.
Minimum of 6 months of care experience.
Compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be eligible to work in the UK as we do not offer sponsorship.
Registration with Social Care Wales or willingness to register.
Shifts: 21:00 - 08:00
Weekly rota, including weekend availability
Additional Benefits & Requirements: 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
DBS Check Required
Enhanced DBS clearance required
Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
