Accounts Assistant - Temporary Maternity Cover (Minimum 6 Months)
Location: Lisburn
Hours: 38 per week Mon-Thurs 8:30am-5:00pm, Fri 8:30am-3:00pm
Rate: £ per hour
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to provide maternity cover for a minimum of six months. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive finance team within a well-established organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing supplier invoices and reconciling supplier accounts (Accounts Payable)
* Managing credit control and issuing invoices (Accounts Receivable)
* Assisting with tax returns, including VAT and PAYE
* Completing bank reconciliations, prepayments, and accruals
* Producing weekly and monthly financial reports
* Liaising with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations
* Supporting with general administrative tasks and other ad hoc duties as required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths at Grade C or above
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a finance or accounting role
* Proficiency in Sage and MS Office applications
* Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Confident communication and interpersonal abilities
