Are you a STEM graduate from Imperial College London looking to gain practical experience supporting children in a school environment?
This Imperial College London Graduate role in Hounslow is a fantastic opportunity to work with pupils who need extra help to thrive in the classroom. As part of your role, you will provide targeted 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils build confidence, independence, and engagement. You will also assist with daily classroom activities and help create a positive, inclusive environment for learning.
Working closely with teachers and SEN specialists, you will support pupils academic, social, and emotional development. Youll help children access learning, improve communication skills, and encourage resilience. This role is ideal for proactive, patient graduates who want to apply their STEM knowledge practically and make a real difference in childrens education.
The Role:
Support pupils with SEND or additional learning needs
Assist with classroom activities and provide 1:1 and small group support
Help create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
Encourage confidence, independence, and engagement through tailored support
Full-time, MondayFriday (08:3015:30, term-time only)
Were Looking For:
STEM degree from Imperial College London (minimum 2:1)
Empathetic, adaptable, and proactive attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Enhanced DBS, or willingness to apply
Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is preferred but not essential
