(NYSE: JEF), a diversified financial services company.Our talented professionals provide a full range of advisory and underwriting services through creative and idea-driven M&A, leveraged finance, equity & equity-linked financing and restructuring & recapitalization solutions.Senior Analyst / Associate - Industrials Investment Banking teamKey Responsibilities & TasksPerforming in-depth fundamental quantitative and qualitative company, market and sector analysisPerforming financial valuation, discounted cash flow and multiples-based analysesBuilding and interrogating complex operating and financial valuation models in ExcelAssisting with the production of client presentations/documents (e.g. pitch books, process timetables and letters, valuation materials and marketing materials)Compiling and managing databasesInvolvement in client meetings and on client callsParticipating in the execution of M&A and capital market transactions, and project management across multiple demanding and time critical initiativesPreparing sector market updates and manage internal databasesLiaising with other Jefferies team on projects and pitches as neededPerson SpecificationThe following skills and experience are required for this role:University degree, Masters or foreign equivalent and relevant experience providing complex analytical supportPrior relevant experience (M&A and/or capital markets transactional deal experience) as an analyst.Strong numerical and financial modelling skillsSolid understanding of business and corporate finance principlesStrong Excel and PowerPoint skillsStrong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skillsSelf-starter with the ability to work autonomouslyGood time management and organizational skills
