Hours: 8am-5pm Monday - Friday (flexibility may be required)
Immediate start for the right individual. You must have a full driving licence. Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory/management role or similar is required. A Forklift licence (counterbalance or reach truck) is desirable but not essential.
This company is a leading manufacturer within their industry in the UK. They are looking for an experienced Assistant Warehouse Manager for their head office.
This role involves working as part of a small team and managing warehouse operations, including:
* Ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and distributed correctly
* Leading and motivating team members
* Receiving deliveries, stock takes, replenishments, picking, checking orders, loading, and dispatch
* Conducting forklift and warehouse inspections to maintain safety
This energetic role requires developing warehouse operatives, building confidence, improving performance, and demonstrating strong communication, customer service, and IT skills.
