The Opportunity As a Backend Engineer, you will design and build the core services that power Validation Cloud’s infrastructure across our Node API, Staking, and Data x AI product lines. You’ll architect fast, reliable, and globally scalable systems that deliver low-latency blockchain access, intelligent data workflows, and high-performance staking operations. This role gives you the opportunity to dive deep into the diverse networks we support, explore new product capabilities, and engineer solutions that push the boundaries of what’s possible in distributed systems. Key Responsibilities Build the world's fastest APIs that deliver globally resilient access to blockchain nodes Implement customer management, control, and billing systems Scale systems for data ingestion, storage, and query capabilities Drive strategic integrations with blockchain networks and ecosystem partners About You 3 years of experience in software engineering Delivered of high quality, well-tested code to meet the needs of our users. Proficient developing in Go. Good knowledge of databases. Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, and/or other cloud environments BA/BSc degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience This is a 100% Remote position, however it is highly preferred this person is located in Europe Bonus Experience Blockchain industry experience Leading open source projects, and/or guiding their communities. Experience with the following: GraphQL, Kubernetes.
