As a support worker, you will support customers in our mental health scheme, fostering a welcoming, customer-focused environment. You will design and deliver tailored key work sessions on topics such as budgeting, savings, and benefits, based on individual needs assessments. You will also guide customers to external agencies and provide quality housing and support services to help sustain tenancies and promote independence.
We want you to be someone who:
* Has experience working in social housing and support (preferred)
* Is well-organized, confident in decision-making, and a problem solver
* Can meet the needs of customers, commissioners, and the community, aligning with Bromford’s policies and procedures
* Can confidently articulate services to customers, colleagues, commissioners, and partners
* Is comfortable reporting and maintaining accurate customer information, including safeguarding concerns
* Builds relationships easily and trusts others, both externally and internally
You will collaborate with local agencies to access specialist support and signpost customers, including debt and income support. You will engage with customers to build positive relationships, review support impacts, and plan next steps.
This role is based at Upton Lane, Shrewsbury, SY2 5RR. An Enhanced and Adult Barred List DBS check may be required.
