Research Associate (Part Time, Fixed Term)
We are a neuroscience research group based in the Department of Physiology, Development and Neuroscience at the University of Cambridge. We are seeking a part‑time Research Associate to contribute to a project investigating the neuromodulatory effects of protein synthesis levels during neuronal network states.
Responsibilities
* Develop new analysis tools for neurophysiological data.
* Apply the tools to a dataset of silicon probe recordings in rodents.
Qualifications
* Recently completed a PhD in computational neuroscience.
* Strong quantitative background (e.g., mathematics).
* Advanced statistical skills and experience with time‑series analysis.
* Experience with bioinformatics is desirable.
Job Details
* Hours: 11.1 hours per week (0.3 FTE), part‑time.
* Fixed‑term: 4 months (first instance).
