Your new role
In this sole charge Accounts Payable role, you will report to the Finance Manager and undertake varied responsibilities including (but not limited to):
* Sole responsibility for end-to-end Accounts Payable across the Group
* Processing supplier invoices
* Preparation and execution of payment runs
* Internal liaison to ensure timely approval of invoices
* Investigation and resolution of supplier queries
* Supplier statement reconciliation
* Supporting cashflow forecasting
* Working alongside external payroll provider, dealing with employee expenses/credit cards
* Ensuring correct VAT application on invoices, preparation of quarterly VAT returns
* AP reporting including supplier spend, payments and balances
* Ongoing review and improvement of AP processes
* Provide full month-end and year-end support for all things AP related
What you'll need to succeed
1. Recent relevant experience in an end-to-end senior/sole charge Accounts Payable role
2. Understanding and prior experience supporting month-end
3. Experience working within the media/music industry with an understanding of royalties is advantageous.
